Greetings Public Health Professionals, The career fair is less than 6 weeks away and on behalf of the Career Fair Planning Committee, we’ll be sending out a few tips to help you prepare. Top 2 tips to have the best experience at the career fair: 1. It’s important to really PLAN AHEAD for the career fair. Don’t let untimely circumstances cause you to miss out on an opportunity to network with employers and highlight your resume (arrive early, schedule time off, make childcare arrangements, buy professional attire, etc.) 2. Prepare and practice your ELEVATOR SPEACH. It should include the following: an introduction of yourself, mention the positions interested, relevant skills & experience, and what do you have to offer.
